Doug writes, "as an interior painter I would not pay $10 for a customer referral until I have been paid by that customer". That's a perfectly sensible opinion and that's exactly how StepRep will operate. We don't get a dime until you get a dollar in your pocket. If no transaction is made - if you don't get an actual, paying customer out of it - we get nothing. But I'm grateful to Doug for raising this. It's good to hear back from people and see where the message is failing to get across. Today I'm going to work on a longer blog post explaining the referral model in greater detail. M. As an interior painter I would not pay $10 for a customer referral until I ahve been paid by that customer. The internet is meant to be "FREE".
